Material allocation & availabilities

Using the expanded object planning functionality, you can check availabilities by variant or by storage location. Its availability management capability allows you to generate dependable delivery schedules – ensuring reliable deadlines despite fluctuating demand.

Detailed planning & capacities

When capacities are finite, you can plan for each workplace or shift: staff absences and bottlenecks are taken into account during planning, and sequences and deadlines are adjusted to the latest circumstances.

Shopfloor feedback & final costing

You can capture quantities, timings, wastage information and reasons for outages in real time. Your actual data are available at workplace level and are directly included in final costings, cost-centre accounting and cost-unit accounting.

Quality assurance & inspection plans

In goods inward and production, inspections are carried out according to fixed schedules – that way, your measuring equipment is consistently trackable at all times.

Drawing management & modifications

Your drawings, successive revisions and links to items are logged centrally. Releases and approvals are traceable at all times and modifications are reliably transmitted to production.

Contract manufacturing & provisioning

You can commission processing steps performed by third parties directly from within the manufacturing process: provisioning, goods inward and returns to warehouse are reliably displayed.

Warehouse & despatch

Commissioning, stock replenishment, packaging or despatch processing: with the WMS add-on, you can work efficiently – with all files, series and batch numbers and despatch details in view at all times.

Integration & device connection

MES, production data acquisition/MDC, CNC controls, CAD, IIoT or test rigs: unitop provides open interfaces to integrate all your systems and devices. Devices on your internal network can be connected securely to the ERP via the unitop HUB.

Reporting, controlling & AI assistance

The solution provides key performance indicators on scheduling, quality and deadlines in real time and you can call up detailed views of entries or series numbers if needed. Controlling reports summarise the results and can be forwarded automatically to financial accounting. With the AI basics add-on, you have an AI event and incident management system that categorises and priorities your entries – including recommended actions – directly in unitop.
